About – Valentine Ballroom

Mecinna Price’s family roots run deep with downtown Pocatello. With five children, the first three being daughters who all married within 18 months of each other, wedding planning started to feel like a part time job. When the opportunity came to open the Valentine Ballroom in downtown Pocatello as an event venue, she went with it and convinced a good friend, Candace Sandy, to open Valentine Bridal within the event space.

Mecinna is married to Dr. Jared Price and together they have five children and three beautiful grand children. They also own Nouveau Medspa, six Miracle Ear clinics, MP Dance Company, Price Properties, Price Products and Jared works as a physician in the wound center at Portneuf Medical Center.

Candace and Curtis Sandy have a beautiful blended family of 8 children, raised in Pocatello Idaho. The Sandy’s love to travel and experience all there is to offer of foreign culture. Curtis works as an emergency physician at Portneuf Medical Center and Candace runs the Valentine Bridal Shop where she specializes in providing a unique, special experience for every bride who walks in the doors.
