Jackie & Justin Reader

For Jackie and Justin, the goal of their wedding day was to have a relaxed, casual wedding
and provide a good time for their loved ones and friends.

The Readers met on Bumble and after a long walk together, great conversation and trivia
games, their children clicked, they bought a dog together, and set the plan in motion for their
new family.
Their Fall wedding was set in the Valentine Ballroom with a casual, fun vibe of pretty florals,
their favorite band, Best by Yesterday, great drinks at the bar and a variety of donuts on the
donut wall for sweets, rather than a traditional wedding cake. Guests were greeted by Valentine
valet and the foyer was decorated with a super cute neon sign in the couples name, candles
amid florals and signed a beer barrel lid rather than a traditional guest book. Tres Express
parked in front of the venue with their super cute pastel taco truck and guests were able to
feast on all you can eat tacos while mingling on the front sidewalk of the historic venue. The
weather was perfect on Jackie and Justin’s big day and the indoor/outdoor vibe with the taco
truck was enjoyed by all. Hair and makeup was done for the bride and daughters by Nouveau
Medspa and the brides bouquet and all wedding florals were fresh spring florals designed by
Mecinna with the Valentine.

Wedding planning was handled by the Valentine staff with Jodi McHugh Photographing leading
up engagement, family and the wedding photos, which were printed on large canvases,
displayed during the festivities and taken home by the couple to enjoy in their home.
Jackie and Justin wrote their own vows they read to each other in front of their closest family
and friends. Justin recalls “The whole day was amazing, but my absolute favorite moment was
seeing Jackie walk down the aisle. She was beautiful and looked so happy. I loved having all of our
family and friends all in one big room to celebrate with us.”

Jackie agreed “My favorite moment of the day was after the ceremony, enjoying our favorite band,
kicking off my shoes and dancing with my new husband.”
